Collision: Steven A. Slagle, 26, of Canonsburg, was changing lanes on I-79 about 9:40 a.m. Sunday when he rear-ended a vehicle being driven by Mike Rebich, 82, of Marietta, Ga., police said. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Simple assault, harassment: Mark Maynard, 53, of 605 Highland Ave., Canonsburg, is being charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly shoved his wife, Betsy, head-first into a door during an argument Thursday, police said. Maynard was taken to Washington County jail.
