Road closure planned in western Washington County

Walker Hill Road, Blaine Township, is scheduled to close Wednesday during the drilling of core borings to aid in bridge abutment design for the Hodgens Bridge over Buffalo Creek at the intersection of Route 221.

Those drilling will set up detour signs. Route 221 is not being detoured, according to Vince Ley, Washington County bridge engineer.
