No injuries were reported from a house fire Monday afternoon in Canonsburg.

A Washington County 911 supervisor said the fire, which was initially described as a kitchen fire, was reported about 4:30 p.m. on the 600 block of Spruce Street.

The supervisor said firefighters brought it under control within 15 minutes.

Canonsburg firefighters didn’t immediately return a call to the station seeking additional details.
