Machine damaged: An employee of Redbox told Canonsburg police Sunday the screen on a machine at Walgreens, Cavasina Drive, was damaged.
Window broken: Aaron Franks of Tannehill Street told Canonsburg police the rear window of his car was broken Saturday.

Burglary arrest: Elijah Jasean Gordon, 21, of 335 Burton Ave., Washington, was arrested Sunday by state police after he allegedly broke into an apartment at 60 Belair Drive. Police said they found him hiding under a desk in a child’s bedroom. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief. He was placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.

Teen faces DUI charge: A 17-year-old Pittsburgh girl will be charged with driving under the influence of marijuana after a one-vehicle crash in the 2000 block of Route 980, Cecil police said. Police said she was driving north about 6:30 a.m. Friday when her vehicle hit an embankment and rolled over. She was not injured. Police also confiscated suspected marijuana gummies and marijuana cookies. Those items are being sent to the laboratory for analysis, and she could also be charged with possession, police said.
DUI alleged in crash: Sanchez Rangel, 32, of Southvue Road, McDonald, will be charged by Cecil police with driving under the influence of alcohol, damage to unattended property and driving without a license after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into a hillside, stairs and a vehicle in the 2100 block of Route 980 early Sunday. Police said his blood-alcohol content was double the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed.
ROSTRAVER
Man jailed: Adam Richard Rattay, 25, of 203 Railroad St., Webster, is charged by state police with endangering the welfare of children, reckless endangerment, flight to avoid apprehension, fleeing from police, failure to restrain a child in a vehicle and numerous traffic-related citations, court records show. Police accuse Rattay of leading a trooper on a vehicle pursuit April 18 with a 3-year-old girl in his car. The chase began on Route 51 at Interstate 70 and ended on Indian Hill Road when Rattay’s vehicle struck an embankment and overturned, police said. Rattay was placed in Westmoreland County jail on $100,000 bond set by District Judge Charles Christner.
Drug arrest: Douglas Dietz, 32, of Pittsburgh, is charged by township police with three counts of drug possession and one count each of public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police accuse Dietz of having 25 doses of Oxymorphone, five Xanax pills and five Oxycodone doses when he was found slumped in his vehicle, which was parked at a convenience store at Route 51 and Finley Road about 9:50 p.m. April 13. He received the charges in a summons issued last week from the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.
Woman charged: Lisa Ann Dascani, 45, of 704 Speer St., North Belle Vernon, is charged by township police with possessing a small amount of cocaine and suboxone and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 7:15 p.m. April 11 at Concord Lane and Municipal Drive, court records show. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charges Friday in a summons.

PFA violation alleged: Martin Moye, 32, who Washington police said is homeless, was arrested Friday on a charge of violating a protection-from-abuse order by kicking open a door of a 27-year-old woman’s home in Jollick Manor. He was placed in Washington County jail on the violation, as well as a probation detainer.
Warrant arrest: Kristen Furia, 43, of 984 Jefferson Ave., was taken into custody Saturday by Washington police after they got a complaint about a woman lying on a sidewalk in the 300 block of East Maiden Street. She allegedly gave police a false name, and it was later determined she was wanted on a bench warrant in Fayette County for failure to appear for a preliminary hearing on charges of retail theft and possession of marijuana. She was placed in Washington County jail on the warrant. City police will charge her with false identification to police and public drunkenness.
Shears stolen: William Miller of East Prospect Avenue told Washington police Thursday pruning shears were stolen from his porch. He said a white, heavyset man is seen on surveillance stealing the shears.
Woman assaulted: A 23-year-old Washington man will be charged with simple assault after he allegedly threw a candle and bottle at a woman inside a Maple Terrace residence Sunday.
Windows broken: Gary Barone told Washington police Sunday three windows were broken at property he owns at 25 Oregon Ave.
Rock thrown: Washington police said a rock was thrown through a window at the BP station, 1300 Jefferson Ave., early Sunday, shattering it. The rock was found inside the store.
Mower stolen: Barry Evans of 26 Gibson Ave. told Washington police Saturday a lawn mower was stolen in a burglary of his home.
Cellphone stolen: Stephanie Byars of Pittsburgh told Washington police her iPhone was stolen as she tried to sell it to a person at a home on Church Street Friday. The would-be buyer grabbed the phone and ran.
