Ringgold track parents notified of investigation
Parents and guardians of Ringgold High School track team members have been notified by letter that an unidentified assistant coach is under investigation.
“Nothing is alleged to have occurred on school district property and appropriate local law enforcement has been notified of the allegation,” said Acting Superintendent Randy Skrinjorich on Thursday.
The law enforcement agency is one within the Ringgold district, which includes several municipalities covered by either local or state police.
The letter states the the matter does not involve contact of a physical nature.
