Waynesburg woman charged with attempting to arrange sex with 14-year-old girl
WAYNESBURG – A Waynesburg woman was charged Tuesday with attempting to arrange a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl through computer messaging, sending the girl explicit photographs of herself and a live internet video chat of her engaging in sex with her boyfriend.
Trista Henderson, 18, of 175 W. Elm St., was charged by Waynesburg police with corruption of a minor, indecent exposure, criminal use of a communications facility and possession of child pornography.
Police also charged her boyfriend, Walter W. Kisner Jr., 22, of the same address, in connection with the live video chat. Kisner faces charges of corruption of a minor, indecent exposure, criminal use of a communication facility and disseminating sexual materials to a minor.
According to the criminal complaint, police were contacted July 17 by the girl’s foster parents, who said they had viewed sexual messages between the girl and Henderson on the girl’s Facebook account on their home computer.
Police accessed the girl’s Facebook account and found messages in which Henderson asked the girl to have sex with her and Kisner. Henderson asked the girl to send her a nude photograph, a request with which the girl complied, police said.
Police said Henderson also sent the girl nude photographs of herself and a photograph of what she said was Kisner’s genitals.
The girl later told police she had been contacted by Henderson through computer messaging and Henderson had asked her to have sex with her and Kisner. The girl also provided information regarding a live video chat police found in the girl’s messaging account.
Police said Henderson told them she had sent the messages and pictures to the girl and Kisner did not know about them. Kisner admitted to having sex with Henderson on a live chat, but said he did not know who was watching, police said.
The two were arraigned Tuesday by District Judge David Balint. Both were placed in Greene County jail – Henderson on $10,000 bond and Kisner on a $7,500 bond – as they await their preliminary hearing scheduled for 11 a.m. Aug. 6.
