CHARLEROI

Assault alleged: Elizabeth Mercedes Benz, 22, of Pittsburgh, is charged by Roscoe, Elco, Stockdale and Allenport regional police with making terroristic threats, false imprisonment, simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Benz of threatening her boyfriend, Brad Timko, with a knife and head-butting him several times in the face during an argument at 508 Sutherland St. about 5:20 p.m. Sunday. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the case in a summons Wednesday.

NORTH FRANKLIN

Theft charges: Malachi C. Simmons, 46, of 124 Charles St., Canton, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on two counts of felony retail theft filed against him by North Franklin police. He is accused of stealing items from Marshall’s, Washington Crown Center, twice on July 19. The items were valued at $440. Redlinger set a $5,000 percentage bond on Simmons, who is in Washington County jail on retail theft charges filed against him by South Strabane Township police.

NORTH STRABANE

Fugitive arrested: Nathaniel J. Trammell, 37, of Clairton, was taken into custody early Thursday by North Strabane police on Linden Road on a fugitive warrant. Tramell is wanted in Winnebago County, Ill., for violating his parole on a charge of possessing a firearm by a gang member. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail without bond pending extradition to Illinois.

ROSTRAVER

Indecent exposure: Kaywan Ullah, 37, of 375 N. Craig St., Pittsburgh, faces charges of indecent exposure and open lewdness after he allegedly approached a woman July 22 at the Marathon gas station, 4975 Route 51, and exposed himself to her at the gas pumps. The charges will proceed by summons from the office of District Judge Charles Christner.

Assault alleged: Kyle Roman Ross, 46, of Smock, is charged by township police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he struck Charles McIntyre several times and also hit him in the face with a cellphone abou 10:15 p.m. Aug. 1 in Van Meter, court records show. Ross is in Westmoreland County jail on $2,500 bond set Thursday by District Judge Charles Christner.
