AMWELL

Burglary reported: Richard Phelan and Eric Meyers of 1011 Banetown Road, Amwell, told state police Wednesday $1,000 in tools were stolen in a burglary of a building on their property. They also told police $1,000 in damage was done to their property. Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.

ATV crash: Eric Joseph Baldinger, 23, of 5200 Blossom Road, Pittsburgh, was charged last week by state police with driving under the influence of alcohol and improperly operating an all-terrain vehicle on the road after allegedly crashing June 16 in the 1200 block of Banetown Road, Amwell. He was taken to UPMC -Presbyterian hospital for treatment of his injuries. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Charged in crash: Ty Dru West, 23, of 64 Olas Lane, Prosperity, was charged last week by state police with DUI of alcohol, failure to stay in his lane, reckless driving and careless driving after he allegedly crashed his car into a tree June 20 along the 3500 block of Vista Valley Road, Amwell. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. Police said a blood sample taken at the hospital showed his blood-alcohol content was more than 3 ½ times the limit at which intoxication is presumed. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

BLAINE

Assault alleged: Travis Ross Lemley, 24, of 98 Elizabeth St., Washington, was charged Tuesday by state police with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. He is accused of punching a man on the side of his face, knocking him off a bench, during an Aug. 11 confrontation at 84 Main St., Blaine. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.
