Sheetz to open store Sept. 6 in Franklin

Sheetz will have a grand opening Sept. 6 for the convenience store it is opening at 398 E. Roy Furman Highway, Franklin Township.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. and feature free self-serve coffee and soda for a short time and prize giveaways. Customers are encouraged to donate a nonperishable food item to the Corner Cupboard Food Bank. Sheetz will donate $2,500 to Special Olympics of Pennsylvania.

About 25 to 30 jobs, full-time or part-time, are being created.
