CANTON

Thefts: State police reported several vehicle break-ins overnight from Nov. 29 to 30. Police said seven people reported money stolen from their unlocked vehicles parked on Cornelia Street, Wolf Avenue, Hewitt Avenue and Nichols Drive.

DONORA

Charges filed: Jessica Montgomery, 35, of McKeesport, and Charles Anthony Barry, 37, of 100 Brokaw Ave., Donora, are charged by borough police with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct stemming from a disturbance at Barry’s residence about 6 p.m. Nov. 23, court records show. Barry also is charged with simple assault and harassment over allegations he kicked open a door that struck and injured a teenager. Montgomery also is charged with resisting arrest. The office of District Judge Mark Wilson issued the charges Wednesday by summons.

PETERS

Burglary charge: Donald Lee Snow Jr., 47, of 111 Holly Drive, McMurray, was charged by Peters Township police with burglary, theft and two counts each of criminal trespass and loitering and prowling at night following two incidents that reportedly were caught on surveillance video. Police said that on Nov. 27, Snow entered an open garage attached to a residence in the 100 block of Old Oak Drive and walked around inside. Police said the owners do not know Snow. He allegedly returned to the home and entered the garage again early Wednesday morning and stole two security cameras. Snow was arrested in connection with an unrelated incident five minutes after the alleged theft. Police said he was about 100 yards from the residence. Snow was arraigned Thursday morning by District Judge Jesse Pettit and jailed on $35,000 bond.

SOUTH STRABANE

Retail theft charge: Dustin Floyd Brooks, 26, of 64 Leoni Road, Washington, was charged by South Strabane Township police with felony retail theft after he allegedly stole a computer and speaker valued at more than $1,300 from Walmart at Trinity Point Nov. 9. Police said Brooks has prior thefts on his record.

Crash: A Canonsburg woman was taken by ambulance to Washington Hospital with a minor injury following a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 79. Police said Karen S. Goroncy, 61, was driving north on I-79 when her vehicle went off the roadway, struck an embankment and rolled over. Ambulance and Chair Services and South Strabane firefighters assisted at the scene.
