Walsh announces district office changes
State Rep. Justin Walsh, a Republican from Rostraver, has announced changes in locations and hours of his district offices.
The main district office will remain at 1739 Rostraver Road in Belle Vernon, and is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The telephone number is 724-929-2655. Walsh’s office in the Mt. Pleasant Borough Hall at 1 Etze Ave. will now be open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The telephone number is 724-542-0349.
In addition, Walsh has opened satellite offices at the Jeannette Public Library, 500 Magee Ave., and at the Sewickley Township Library, 201 Highland Ave., Herminie. A staff member will be available at the Jeannette Public Library on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from noon to 6:30 p.m. At the Sewickley Township Public Library, a staffer will be available on the second and fourth Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Staff in the offices offer the following state-related services:
- Driver’s license and vehicle registration applications and renewals.
- Assistance with PennDOT paperwork, such as lost cards, changes, corrections, special plates and handicapped placards.
- PACE and PACENET applications.
- Help with public assistance, such as Medicaid and food stamp applications.
- Property tax and rent rebate applications.
- Applications for birth and death certificates.
- Access to state tax forms.
- Voter registration forms.
