Volunteers at Washington Alliance Church separate toys into categories Tuesday.

Bicycles, a telescope, games and dolls would bring sheer joy to any child on Christmas morning.

These were among the truckload of gifts collected by employees of Range Resources at Southpointe for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

Employees of the energy company have donated to Toys for Tots for the past nine years. Nicole Kravitz, completions engineer technician of Range Resources, said she and her co-workers also collect aluminum cans throughout the year and donate the cash to Toys for Tots.

Range Resources employees will deliver the cargo to the Washington Alliance Church, where the toys will be separated into categories by age and gender, said Sally Pallesco, co-coordinator of the Washington-Greene Counties Toys for Tots. The gifts will be distributed to more than 700 needy families.
