Alleged theft: A suspect, a female whom state police did not identify, is accused of stealing checks from Theresa Ann Dipyatic, 74, of 17 Pigeon Creek Road, forging the victim’s signature on the checks and cashing them. The alleged crime occurred between March 12 and noon Dec. 6. An investigation is ongoing.

Criminal mischief: A mailbox owned by Kimberly Ann Wilson, 58, of 141 Hickory Road, was smashed between midnight and 7 a.m. last Sunday, state police reported. An investigation is underway.

Alleged threats: Michael Edward Yoder Sr., 50, of Greensboro, is in Greene County Detention Center on a terroristic threats charge following an alleged incident around noon Dec. 7. State police said they responded to a report of a domestic incident involving a weapon at 1323 Bobtown Road. They said the accused got into a physical altercation with a man, 25, over family quarrels, then retrieved a loaded shotgun from a bedroom and began pointing it at the man and two women, ages 19 and 50. He screamed he was going to kill everyone and began racking the shotgun to scare them, police reported. Yoder is held on $50,000 bond.
