Bar cited: The Burgettstown Legion Home Association on Main Street was cited Wednesday for alleged violations of the state small games of chance law.

Domestic violence charges: Borough police charged Christopher C. Davis, 45, of Belmont Avenue with strangulation, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and simple assault in connection with an allegation he put his hands around a woman’s throat and choked her for about 30 seconds during an argument at his home Thursday night. Davis was freed on $25,000 bond following arraignment before District Judge Larry Hopkins.
