The winning stall door at Empress Arabians in Peters Township

Employees at Empress Arabians in Peters Township decided to have a little fun for the holidays by having a stall door decoration contest in one section of the barn.

Three judges scored the 11 doors by picking their top five, and points were awarded based on placement.

“I’m Dreaming of a White Horse” placed second in a door-decoration contest for employees at Empress Arabians.

Ribbons were awarded to the top three doors, and all the participants were given a cash prize.

Barn manager Barbara Gardner said portions of the decorations would remain up until Jan. 2 to celebrate the holiday season.
