What’s closed
Federal, state and local municipal offices will be closed Tuesday in observance of New Year’s Day. Banks and financial markets are also closed and there is no mail delivery. The Observer-Reporter will not be published on Tuesday. The business office will close at noon Monday. The editorial department will reopen at 4 p.m. Tuesday to prepare the next day’s edition.
