CALIFORNIA

Disorderly house: Garrett Cole, 20, of Waynesburg, and Thomas Zandhuis, 23, of Library, will be charged by California police with violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance after they allegedly hosted a loud party early Saturday at their apartment at 54 Temperance Way.

CANONSBURG

Money stolen: A customer at Shop ‘n Save, 617 W. Pike St., told Canonsburg police Sunday she had $30 stolen from a self-checkout register. Charges are pending against a Houston man.

HOPEWELL

Woman charged: Ashley Nichole Roy, 24, of 26 Mount View Drive, Burgettstown, was arrested Saturday by state police on charges of theft, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle. She is accused of stealing a 2012 Mercedes Benz from 4362 Jefferson Ave., Hopewell. The owner reported it stolen Friday. She reportedly returned the vehicle the following day. Roy was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

MONESSEN

Man jailed: Michael R. Dragicevich, 47, of 410 Second St., Monessen, is charged by city police with strangulation, unlawful restraint, simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Dragicevich of putting his girlfriend in a bear hug and a standing rear headlock to prevent her from calling 911 about 2:35 a.m. Sunday in his residence. He was placed in Westmoreland County jail on $15,000 bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

MONONGAHELA

Firearms charges: Danny Alan Lutz, 52, of 110 Chess St., Monongahela, was arrested Saturday by Monongahela police on charges of illegal sale or transfer of firearms and unsworn falsification after he allegedly put false information on a firearms application while trying to buy a gun at Rabes Trading Post, 210 Fourth St., Jan. 11. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and released from Washington County jail after posting $5,000 bond.

NORTH STRABANE

Teen charged: A 17-year-old Strabane boy was charged Monday by North Strabane police in a juvenile allegation with institutional vandalism after he allegedly sprayed black paint on walls at Canon-McMillan Senior High School Oct. 25.

ROSTRAVER

Endangerment alleged: Cindy Castor, 41, of 421 Finley Road, Rostraver Township, is charged by Rostraver police with simple assault and endangering the welfare of children over allegations she grabbed a boy by the throat, pinned him against a wall and tackled him to the floor about 9 p.m. Friday in her home, court records show. She is free on $50,000 unsecured bond set by District Judge Mark Mansour.

SOUTH STRABANE

Medication stolen: Trista Main of Dawson told township police Friday two types of prescription medication were stolen from her purse while it was in her vehicle, which was parked in a lot on Oak Spring Road.

WASHINGTON

Drug charges: Kimberly Strawn, 46, of 819 Ewing St., Washington, was arrested Friday on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver crack filed against her by state police. She is accused of selling the drug to a confidential informant in February 2016. Strawn was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and released from Washington County jail after posting $20,000 bond.

Man robbed: Eslmiel Delgado, 22, of Washington, told Washington police he was robbed Sunday morning outside a home in the 300 block of Duncan Avenue. He told police he walked to the home with a woman he just met. When they arrived, he said the woman’s sister and two men came out and robbed him of $200. One of the men allegedly threatened to shoot Delgado if he did not leave.

Man assaulted: Charges are pending against a man accused of hitting Michael Wise, 47, of Brookside Avenue, in the mouth during a confrontation early Monday at Wise’s home, Washington police said.

Burglary attempt: John Wheeler of 540 W. Chestnut St. told Washington police Sunday a would-be burglar tried to pry open the door on his garage.

Money stolen: Doris Munchie of 1055 Jefferson Ave. told Washington police Sunday $40 was stolen from a jewelry box at her home.

Teen to be charged: A 17-year-old Washington girl will be charged with harassment by Washington police after she allegedly tried to hit a West Alexander woman, knocking a cellphone from the woman’s hand during a confrontation last month at Brownson House, 1405 Jefferson Ave.

Woman hit: Peyton Hull, 22, told Washington police Saturday she was deliberately hit with a vehicle driven by a 28-year-old Washington woman while Hull was getting into another vehicle parked in front of her East Katherine Avenue home. The 28-year-old woman got out of her vehicle and reportedly punched Hull in the face. Charges are pending.

Package stolen: Cassandra McClelland of 979 Jefferson Ave. told Washington police Saturday a package containing an item from Amazon was stolen from outside her apartment after it was delivered by the post office.

Woman assaulted: Ashley White, 36, of Langeloth, told Washington police Friday she was assaulted by a 60-year-old man inside his home on Hall Avenue. She told police he grabbed her by the shoulders, scratched her and punched her. Charges are pending.

Account accessed: Julia Oakley of Washington told Washington police Friday information from her debit card was used to make a $575 purchase without her permission.

Drug charges: State police charged Jake D. Winters, 30, of Washington with possessing a small amount of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, driving with a suspended license and driving without valid insurance in connection with a traffic stop shortly after 12 p.m. Saturday. The charges were sent Monday by summons from District Judge Robert Redlinger.
