LETTER Another vote to impeach President Trump?
Apparently the Democrats are pouring money into the 18th Congressional District race. In a recent one-hour period, we had to sit through six Conor Lamb ads on TV — one every 10 minutes.
From the ads, I get the feeling that Democratic consultants took Lamb to an isolated boot camp and drilled him for weeks.
Trainer: “Who are you?”
Lamb: “I’m Conor Lamb … I’m a Marine … I don’t like Nancy Pelosi … We need good jobs in Pennsylvania … I like to shoot guns.”
Trainer(pacing): “Again!! It has to be like a reflex, like breathing!”
Lamb: “I’m Conor Lamb … I like to shoot guns … I … I’m.”
As Lorraine Petrosky, chair of Westmoreland County’s Democratic Party put it, “He was a Marine. That’s all we have to say … He was a Marine and he’s a Catholic.”
Lamb was also appointed an assistant U.S. Attorney in Pittsburgh by President Barack Obama in 2014.
Petrosky’s limited information aside, if Lamb would submit to a lie detector test, then someone might ask him his legal views on the Obama White House’s stance on gun control and regulation. Also, does Lamb agree with the Obama Justice Department’s action against North Carolina? North Carolina passed a law to keep men dressed as women out of women’s restrooms, and the Obama administration sued North Carolina on the grounds that men walking into ladies’ rooms was a “civil right.”
Will we get these answers the day after Lamb wins?
Lamb or a wolf in sheep’s clothing? Another Democratic vote to impeach President Trump?
Democrats tried this maneuver in Montana, dressing a San Francisco liberal in cowboy boots and a hat. It failed.
