BENTLEYVILLE
Warrant signed: Robert Playford Lilley, 35, of 12 Hemlock St., Ellsworth, is charged by state police with theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property, court records show. He is accused of stealing $170 and a car Sunday from Erica Lynne Rose, who resides on Old West Road. District Judge Curtis Thompson signed a warrant Tuesday for Lilley’s arrest.
CALIFORNIA
Driver charged: Anthony M. Rhodes, 22, of Republic, was charged by California police with tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, driving with a suspended license and no registration after a Jan. 25 traffic stop at Third and Wood streets. Police said he had paraphernalia and was trying to destroy evidence. The charges were sent by summons Tuesday from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
CHARLEROI
Woman charged: Halie Shaelynn Drdul, 25, of 728 Lookout Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with theft over accusations she stole $20 from a register while working Saturday at a Gulf station at 62 McKean Ave., court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charge Tuesday by summons.
CHARTIERS
Porch hit: Michael Tarbuck, 57, of Tara Drive, South Strabane Township, was taken to Washington Hospital after his car went off the 600 block of West Pike Street near Forrest Avenue about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, went through two yards and hit the porch of a house at 610 W. Pike St., Chartiers police said. Emergency medical personnel told police it appeared Tarbuck might have suffered a medical issue before the crash.
DONORA
Woman charged: Shelby Lea Hairston, 20, of 343 First St., Donora, is charged by borough police with possession of a small amount of marijuana and disorderly conduct stemming from a traffic stop about 3:15 a.m. Jan. 28 at South McKean Avenue and the Donora-Monessen Bridge. Police accuse her of screaming and hitting her head against a partition in a police cruiser. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges by summons Tuesday.
MONONGAHELA
Theft alleged: Jessica M. Nichols, 36, of 131 Altman Road, Jeannette, is charged by city police with theft, causing an accident involving attended property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, false reports and criminal mischief, court records show. Police accuse Nichols of stealing a car parked behind Jim’s Bar, 163 W. Main St., and striking the building with it as she drove off. Police recovered the vehicle from a home on Pleasant Street. District Judge Curtis Thompson signed a warrant Monday for Nichols’ arrest.
ROSTRAVER
Lewdness charges: Drake Wainwright Rucci, 20, of 516 Third Street, Newell, will be charged by Rostraver police with indecent exposure and open lewdness stemming from two incidents in the parking lot of Tri-County Plaza. On Oct. 24 near the state driver’s license center, he allegedly exposed himself to a woman and her 7-year-old son. He also allegedly exposed himself to a woman in the lot near Giant Eagle. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.
SOUTH STRABANE
Assault charge: Delmar James Pritchett, 28, of 3308 Clubhouse Circle, South Strabane, was charged by township police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly kicked and choked a woman during a confrontation at their home Friday morning. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
WASHINGTON
Charged with escape: James Spell, 53, of 397 W. Chestnut St., Washington, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on a charge of escape filed against him by Washington police. Spell was in Washington County jail on a parole revocation when he allegedly failed to return from work release Jan. 5, 2016. He was taken back into custody Oct. 2. Redlinger set a $5,000 percentage bond on Spell, who is in jail on a bench warrant.
Charged in failed drug test: Aimee Lynn Irwin, 46, of 173 Church St., Washington, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on a charge of failure to furnish drug-free urine. She was charged by a Washington County sheriff’s deputy after she allegedly used a bottle of urine in an attempt to falsify a drug screening at the Washington County adult probation office Jan. 22. Redlinger set a $5,000 percentage bond on Irwin, who is in Washington County jail on a probation detainer.
Paraphernalia charge: Jessica Nicole Gomez, 29, of 496 Fayette St., Washington, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on a charge of possession of paraphernalia filed by Washington police. Police said they found her with five empty heroin stamp bags July 10 as she was sitting on a sidewalk in the 100 block of Canton Avenue. Redlinger set a $5,000 percentage bond on Gomez, who is in Washington County jail on a bench warrant.
Charged in gun theft: Christian Spencer, 19, of 592 Fayette St., Washington, was charged Wednesday by Washington police with theft for allegedly stealing a .380-caliber handgun from his mother Dec. 5. He allegedly admitted throwing the gun into Chartiers Creek in an area off West Chestnut Street in Canton Township. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Theft charge: Carrie Riley, 37, of Granville, W.Va., will be charged by Washington police with retail theft after she allegedly stole an item from Shop ‘n Save, 125 W. Beau St., Tuesday. She also was banned from the store.
