CANONSBURG
Tree falls: Canonsburg police said a large, rotten tree in the 100 block of Belmont Avenue fell about 5 p.m. Sunday. The tree landed on a car owned by Gavini Kiran of West College Street, heavily damaging it. The tree also knocked down a utility pole, bringing down wires. A security camera and service entrance lines also were damaged on homes on Belmont.
Warrant arrest: Thomas Kencec, 25, of 204 N. Haft St., Houston, was taken into custody Sunday by Canonsburg police on bench warrants from Washington and Cambria counties. Police had been investigating a retail theft at Rite Aid, 601 W. Pike St., when they learned Kencec had warrants. He was placed in Washington County jail.
Bag stolen: Wayne Bates of Railroad Street, Houston, told Canonsburg police Saturday a bag containing several items was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at West Pike Bowl, 605 W. Pike St.
Purse stolen: Amy Walas of Summit Circle, Houston, told Canonsburg police Saturday her Dooney & Bourke purse, containing a Dooney & Bourke wallet and debit and credit cards, was stolen from her vehicle Saturday while it was parked at Town View, 300 Barr St.
CHARLEROI
Theft, trespass charges: David T. Julue, 31, of 210 Second St., Charleroi, was arrested Sunday by Charleroi police stemming from two incidents that morning. He is charged with theft for allegedly stealing a laptop computer, $1,000 and a $2,957 Social Security check from his girlfriend’s McKean Avenue home. He also is charged with false identification to police and defiant trespass after he was found that morning at the Sunoco at 100 First St. Police said he had been banned from the store. Julue was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond.
JEFFERSON
Fugitive arrested: Thomas D. Grennell III, 52, of 214 Oak St., Langeloth, was arrested Saturday by Jefferson police as a fugitive from justice after it was determined during a traffic stop he was wanted on a felony warrant in Brooke County, W.Va. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail without bond, pending extradition to West Virginia.

Woman charged: Sheryl Ann Muzina, 49, of 118 Elks Place, Rostraver Township, is charged by city police with giving an officer a false identity and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 9:50 a.m. Jan. 26, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges in a summons Thursday.
NORTH BELLE VERNON
Man arraigned: Jacob Stephen Gherardini, 21, of 406 Victoria St., Washington Township, Fayette County, is charged by borough police with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug possession, court records show. Police said an officer seized 6.2 grams of the drug and $2,485 from Gherardini about 6 p.m. Saturday in the 10 block of Fayette Street. Gherardini is free on $10,000 unsecured bond set by District Judge Wayne Gongaware.
NORTH STRABANE
Threats alleged: Jason Donor Mahramus, 45, of 249 Vine St., Canonsburg, was arrested Friday by state police at The Meadows Casino, 210 Racetrack Road, North Strabane, on charges of terroristic threats, resisting arrest, criminal trespass and false identification to police. Police said Mahramus was highly intoxicated and bothering female guests. He also allegedly refused orders by security to leave, and when police took him into custody, he allegedly threatened a corporal and kicked at his leg shackles. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and released from Washington County jail after posting $1,000 of a $10,000 percentage bond.
ROSTRAVER
Theft alleged: Richard Reynolds, 47, of 220 Cottage St., New Salem, is charged by township police with access device fraud, receiving stolen property and theft, court records show. Police said he used a credit card belonging to his employer, Big’s Sanitation, 4692 Route 51, to make 10 gasoline purchases totaling $429 for his personal vehicle between Nov. 30 and Jan. 21. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charges last week by summons.
Assaults alleged: Rachel Caitlin Watson, 21, and her father, William Conard Watson Jr., 48, both of 233 Starlite Circle, Rostraver Township, are charged by township police with simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police said they caused each other injuries during a fight in their home about 3:20 p.m. Saturday. They are free on $10,000 unsecured bonds set by District Judge Wayne Gongaware.
Indecent exposure alleged: Drake Wainwright Bucci, 20, of 516 Third St., Newell, is charged by township police with two counts each of indecent exposure and open lewdness, court records show. Police accuse him of exposing himself about 1:15 p.m. Oct. 24 and about 4:20 p.m. Jan. 21 while seated in his vehicle at Tri-County Plaza on Route 201. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges in a summons Monday.
WASHINGTON
Woman arrested: A woman identified only as Jane Doe, 20, of Connecticut, was arrested Sunday afternoon by Washington police on charges of disorderly conduct, underage drinking and public drunkenness after officers were called to a disturbance at Hall and Donnan avenues. The woman was found crying and screaming. She identified herself as Jade Langlois, 20, of Connecticut, but police were not able to find a record of her under that name. She was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail Monday on $1,000 bond.
Teen faces charges: A 16-year-old boy faces assault charges after he allegedly assaulted Michael Reid, 61, of Allison Avenue, at the man’s home Sunday, Washington police said. Reid was identified as the boyfriend of the teen’s grandmother. The boy reportedly had been told to leave. He allegedly knocked Reid down and kicked him. Reid went to Washington Hospital for treatment.
Warrant arrest: Eric Yanov, 34, of 95 Acheson Ave., Washington, was taken into custody Sunday by Washington police on a bench warrant after police got a complaint about a man allegedly using drugs on West Wheeling Street. Police said they found Yanov with several needles. He was placed in Washington County jail on the warrant.
Girl missing: Angelica Mondez, 15, of 725 Fayette St., was reported missing Sunday to Washington police by her father. He told police she may be in the Pittsburgh area.
Vehicles damaged: Bobbi Couch of Donnan Avenue and Katherine Knight-Parr of North Franklin Street told Washington police Friday their vehicles were damaged by eggs that were thrown at them.
Vehicle stolen: Troy Terrell of Donnan Avenue told Washington police Friday his blue 2004 Volvo S60 was stolen from the 200 block of Shirls Avenue.
Window broken: Kevin Raney of 119 Murray Ave. told Washington police Friday the rear window of his vehicle was shattered.
