Ringgold cancels classes for superintendent’s funeral
Ringgold School District has canceled classes Wednesday to allow for students and staff to attend the funeral for the district’s superintendent.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. for Karen Polkabla at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 1 Park Road.
Polkabla, 67, of Donora, died unexpectedly Thursday in her home of natural causes.
