Construction of the Route 231 bridge, spanning Brush Run in Blaine and Independence townships, is scheduled to begin March 12 as part of the state Department of Transportation’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. During construction, which is expected to be completed in June, an alternating traffic pattern will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.
