CANTON

Escapes injury: George Rogers, 21, of Washington, escaped injury early Friday when his vehicle crashed on Interstate 70 eastbound near the Jessop Place exit, Canton. State police said he was driving east in the right lane when his vehicle veered from the lane and spun 240 degrees clockwise before hitting a guardrail off the left lane. The vehicle then crossed back over the highway and hit the guardrail on the right side of the road. Police said Rogers will be cited for failure to stay in his lane.

SOMERSET

Harassment alleged: Charles Bronson Jenkins, 40, of Washington, was charged by state police with harassment and criminal mischief after he allegedly shoved a 40-year-old woman to the floor and broke a window at 353 Pittsburgh Road, Somerset, Monday.
