Hit and run crash: No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle, hit and run crash Friday night on West Roy Furman Highway near the village of Rutan, Center. State police said a vehicle tried to pass a vehicle driven by Marvin Jackson, 50, of Graysville, on the left side. The other vehicle struck the front left side of Jackson’s Ford Escape, before speeding off.

FRANKLIN

Driver charged: Nicolas Rodriguez, 25, of Aliquippa, Beaver County, was charged by state police with failure to drive at a safe speed after crashing his vehicle on Intertstate 79 northbound about three miles south of the Waynesburg exit, Franklin, Friday night.
