Harassment alleged: John Stepoli, 59, of California, was charged Friday by California police with harassment after he allegedly got into an argument Tuesday night with another man at the California Manor Apartments, Second Street, and punched him in the face.

Girl injured: A 9-year-old Bulger girl was slightly injured when a van she was riding in crashed Jan. 4 in the 900 block of Eldersville Road, Jefferson. State police said the van, driven by a 17-year-old Bulger girl, was going west when it went off the right side of the road. The van then spun and went off the left side of the road, hitting an embankment. The driver, along with five other children from Bulger, two girls ages 6 and 16 and three boys ages 8, 9 and 11, were not injured. The driver will be cited with failure to stay in her lane.
