Court cases

Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Lisa J. Eckert, 57, 306 Belmont Ave., Apt. 1, Canonsburg; recklessly endangering another person, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer and resisting arrest; charged Oct. 28, 2016; sentence – two months of probation.

Trevon Dareese Stewart, 23, 229 Clay St., Sharpsburg; possession with intent to deliver, receiving stolen property and flight to avoid apprehension; charged Feb. 11, 2016, and Jan. 13, 2017; sentence – 11 ½ to 23 months in jail and five years of probation.

Samantha Myers, 31, 25 Victoria St., Washington; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Feb. 7; sentence – 12 months of probation without verdict.

Richard Lassic III, 23, 47 Shannon Ave., Washington; simple assault; charged March 11; sentence – one year of probation, restitution and no contact with the victims and Waffle House.

William Albert Berdine, 39, 455 Ewing St., Washington; operating a meth lab and risking catastrophe; charged April 25; sentence – one year less one day to two years less two days in jail, five years of probation and restitution.

Zachary Andrew Thomas, 26, 67 Interstate Alley, Claysville; theft; charged April 24; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and no contact with the victim.

Jeffrey Ray Hixon, 32, 101 Trinity Drive, Suite E, Washington; criminal attempt to commit theft by deception; charged April 18, 2016; sentence – 23 months in the intermediate punishment program, one month on electronic home monitoring and 50 hours of community service.

Michael John Wheatley, 43, 58 Wheatley Road, Charleroi; access device fraud; charged Feb. 8; sentence – five years of probation and restitution.

Lisa Darcell Jolly, 50, 330 Latimer Ave., Aliquippa; disorderly conduct; charged May 30; sentence – $300 fine.

William Coyle Ecoff, 39, 107 ½ Walters Road, Clairton; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged May 26; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Ashley Carbone, 27, 156 Taylor Run Road, Monongahela; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; charged June 12; sentence – 12 months of probation and restitution.

Michael Alan Carothers, 43, 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington; retail theft and driving with a suspended license; charged March 1; sentence – six to 23 months in jail, $500 fine, restitution and no contact with Giant Eagle.

Kristi Harmon, 33, 808 Governor’s Circle, Washington; possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver; charged July 27, 2015; sentence – three months in jail and 23 months in the intermediate punishment program.

James William Cole Sr., 50, 175 Ohio St., Washington; simple assault; charged June 17; sentence – two years of probation, restitution and no contact with the victim.

Beau Arthur Bouchard, 30, 309 First St., Lawrence; terroristic threats; charged April 23; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Jennifer Diane Tustin, 39, 32 Atlantic Drive, Washington; driving with a suspended license; charged April 25; sentence – $200 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension.

Anna Marie Chiovitti, 46, 310 Second St., Apt. B, Vestaburg; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged June 19; sentence – six months of probation.

Evan Dietrich Knopp, 26, 71 ½ W. Katherine Ave., Washington; simple possession; charged Feb. 19, 2015; sentence – 12 months of probation and 25 hours of community service.

William Henry Howes, 58, 17 Howes Lane, Fredericktown; driving under the influence, simple possession and resisting arrest; charged March 22; sentence – 12 months of probation, six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days on electronic home monitoring, $1,000 fine, 12-month driver’s license suspension and 50 hours of community service.

Jennifer Williams, 43, 112 Mawhinney Road, Cecil; theft by deception; charged Jan. 9, 2014; sentence – 23 months of probation, restitution and no contact with Community Bank.

David Scott Hawley, 42, 8 Gates Lane, Bentleyville; driving under the influence and disregarding traffic lane; charged Oct. 27, 2016; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program and $525 fine.

Faron Kyle Hetzel, 39, 228 Oak St., Washington; driving under the influence of a controlled substance; charged June 8; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days on electronic home monitoring, $1,000 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension.

Herby Grantz, 35, 113 Hamilton St., Washington; theft by deception; charged Nov. 20, 2015; sentence – two to 12 months in jail.

Brandon E. Leek, 33, 63 S. Wade Ave., Apt. 3, Washington; simple assault; charged Oct. 14, 2016; sentence – 24 months in the intermediate punishment program.

Johnathan Michael Wood, 22, 205 Eureka Hill Road, Jacobs Creek; corruption of minors; charged March 11, 2016; sentence – six to 23 months in jail.

Christopher Duncan, 27, 128 First St., Marianna; receiving stolen property; charged Feb. 16; sentence – 23 months in the intermediate punishment program, three months on electronic home monitoring and no contact with the victim.

Mark Anthony Clipp, 32, 382 Naomi Road, Fayette City; flight to avoid apprehension; charged July 17; sentence – 18 months of probation and 125 hours of community service.

Devid Edward Garber, 27, 529 Euclid Ave., Rear, Canonsburg; tampering with physical evidence and simple possession; charged June 26; sentence – two years of probation.

Marci Jo Klinzing, 49, 8 Crossroads Road, Washington; cruelty to animals; charged Dec. 13, 2016; sentence – $50 fine.

Barbie L. Castrucci, 37, 212 Meadowview Drive, Canonsburg; endangering the welfare of children, accidents involving damage to attended property and driving with a suspended license; charged Nov. 29, 2016; sentence – 18 months of probation, $200 fine, restitution and no contact with the victim.

Mark Edward Richards, 26, 160 Dairy Road, Washington; aggravated assault by vehicle, prohibited text-based communications and evidence of emission inspection; charged March 10; sentence – 24 months in the intermediate punishment program, 12 months on electronic home monitoring and restitution.

The following recently appeared in Washington County Court for first offenses of driving under the influence and were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program.
