Car on guardrail: A tow truck pulled a car off a guardrail in front of Amelia’s Family Steakhouse Saturday night. State police said the vehicle, which was headed east on Third Street just west of the Chartiers Road intersection, was going downhill when it crossed the center line and drove off the road, hitting a guardrail with its undercarriage. The car came to a rest balanced on top of the guardrail. The driver, whose name was not released, was charged with unsafe tire conditions.
