PennDOT to hold open house on North Main project

The state Department of Transportation will hold an open house and plans display of proposed improvements to North Main Street in Chartiers Township from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Chartiers Township Municipal Building, 2 Buccaneer Drive, Houston.
The purpose of this meeting is to present the proposed plans for the project that involves replacement of the bridge that carries North Main Street over a branch of Chartiers Creek. Information on the project’s proposed design and schedule will be on display. PennDOT representatives, along with design consultants, will be available to answer questions.
