Chartiers police obtain arrest warrant for robbery suspect
Chartiers Township police have obtained an arrest warrant for a second suspect in an armed robbery Sunday of a couple in the 2200 block of Henderson Avenue.
Wilco Lee McClain, 23, of Cleveland, Ohio, is wanted on charges of robbery, conspiracy, theft, receiving stolen property, terroristic threats and reckless endangerment. District Judge David Mark issued the warrant Tuesday.
McClain and Sequan Hashin Pray, 22, of Latrobe, Westmoreland County, are accused of robbing a woman and man of a cellphone at gunpoint.
The woman had reportedly made arrangements with McClain, who has ties to the Washington area, to sell the phone to Pray.
When the woman asked for the money after handing Pray the phone, he allegedly pulled a gun and threatened to harm her and her boyfriend.
Police said McClain and Pray fled. Pray was later found inside a nearby trailer. He was arraigned Sunday and placed in Washington County jail on $75,000 bond. He faces a Feb. 13 preliminary hearing before Mark.
