CALIFORNIA
Disorderly house: Austin Fisher, 20, of Carnegie, and Christian N. Fletcher, 21, of Crescent, were cited by California police for violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance after reportedly hosting a loud party early Saturday.
CHARTIERS
Account accessed: Tyler Whitfield of Chartiers told township police Monday that his Paypal account on eBay was accessed and used to make a purchase of a $600 Louis Vuitton purse that was shipped to an address in California.
DONEGAL
Drug arrest: Michael Charles Tumbarello, 34, of Huntington, N.Y., was arrested Monday by state police on drug charges after a traffic stop near the Welcome Center of Interstate 70 eastbound, Donegal. Police stopped him for failure to stay in his lane. Police said they could smell marijuana and searched Tumbarello’s vehicle, finding 15 vacuum-sealed packages containing suspected marijuana. Tumbarello was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver marijuana. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.
ROBINSON
Fuel stolen: An employee of Frontier Environmental Services told McDonald police Monday that 50 gallons of fuel was stolen from a bulldozer parked off Midway-Candor Road, Robinson.
SOUTH STRABANE
Two arrested: Robert Adam McDonald, 33, and Carrie Lee Riley, 37, both of Morgantown, W.Va., were arrested Monday by South Strabane police on charges of retail theft and conspiracy. Both are accused of stealing items valued at $500 from Lowe’s, Strabane Square. They were arraigned before District Judge Jesse Pettit and placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bonds.
Theft charges: Sky Whitney Nelson, 25, of 890 Duncan Ave., Washington, was charged last week by South Strabane police with retail theft and theft by deception after she allegedly stole items valued at $383 from Walmart, Trinity Point, on Jan. 21 and returned the items for a gift card. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Charged in theft: Justin G. Florian, 38, of 265 Brookside Ave., Washington, was charged last week with theft by deception after he allegedly returned stolen items valued at $123 to Walmart, Trinity Point, on Jan. 21 in exchange for a gift card. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
WASHINGTON
Charged in stop: Michael Jason Wright, 40, of 118 Fulton St., North Franklin Township, was charged Tuesday by state police with possession or marijuana and paraphernalia and an equipment violation after a Nov. 29 traffic stop at the intersection of Jefferson and Tyler avenues. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Money stolen: The owner of Beck’s Beer, 855 Jefferson Ave., told Washington police Monday that two men entered the store Jan. 15. While one wandered through the store, the other went into a rear office and stole an undetermined amount of petty cash. They left in a white Honda Civic.
Students charged: Shawn Duchi, 18, of 708 Fayette St., Washington, and a 17-year-old boy who lives on Hall Avenue, Washington, were charged by Washington police Monday with disorderly conduct for allegedly throwing furniture inside a classroom at the Alternative School, Allison Avenue.
House burglarized: Jennifer Taylor of 93 Woodland Ave. told Washington police Monday that her house was burglarized early that morning. The burglar stole keys to her 2011 Ford Focus and took the car. Also stolen were a pair of Nike shoes. Police found a crowbar outside the back door.
