CANONSBURG

Assault charges: McKenzie Leigh Reeher, 28, of 261 Hooks Lane, Canonsburg, was arrested Monday by borough police on charges of simple assault and harassment for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend’s mother. She is accused of pulling on the other woman’s hair and punching her in the head. Reeher was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Armory center damaged: Canonsburg police said the Armory Youth Center, West College Street, was damaged by vandals Sunday and Monday. Two doors were damaged Monday, and toilets were clogged the previous night.

CANTON

Assault, threats arrest: Clinton Keller, 32, of Port Charlotte, Fla., was arrested Monday by state police on charges of possession of paraphernalia, terroristic threats, simple assault, criminal trespass and harassment after he allegedly hit his girlfriend in the face and threatened her with a knife during an incident at her apartment at Belvedere Acres, Canton. Police said they found him sitting inside a vehicle, where paraphernalia was discovered. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

CHARLEROI

Pair charged: Jamie Roderick Jones Sr., 38, and Erica Lynn Chucuddy, 34, both of 204 Oakland Ave., Charleroi, are each by Charleroi Regional police with endangering the welfare of children, court records show. Police accuse them of failing to seek medical treatment for two children in their care, one of whom had a severe sore throat that required a transfer to Children’s Hospital of UPMC-Pittsburgh. The other child’s entire body was covered in a rash caused by exposure to a poisonous plant, police said. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Monday by summons.

CHARTIERS

Assault, endangerment arrest: Wayne Cimino, 41, of 809 W. Pike St., was arrested Sunday by Chartiers police on charges of simple assault, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and harassment after he allegedly assaulted his wife and pointed a gun at her during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and released from Washington County jail Monday after posting $2,500 of a $25,000 percentage bond.

Jewelry stolen: An employee of Premier Health, 36 Old Hickory Ridge Road, told Chartiers police Monday an 18-inch gold chain with diamonds and a gold cross was stolen from a dementia patient. The patient’s son noticed Friday his mother was no longer wearing the chain.

INDEPENDENCE

Neighbor charged: William Prowitt, 43, of 655 Poplar Road, Avella, was charged Tuesday by McDonald police with terroristic threats, simple assault, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He is accused of going to a neighbor’s Independence home June 15, threatening to assault him and tear up the house. He also allegedly punched the neighbor. Prowitt had been told by the neighbor two days earlier to stay off his property, police said. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

NORTH STRABANE

Theft charge: Steven Reidenbaugh, 53, of 93 Martin Ave., Avella, was charged last week by state police at the Meadows Casino with theft of mislaid property after he allegedly stole $110 that a woman dropped on the floor May 25. Police said he took the money and left the casino. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft charge: Jian Chu Xu, 49, of Pittsburgh, was charged last week by state police at the Meadows Casino with theft by sleight of hand after he allegedly capped his bet at a baccarat table May 28. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Woman arraigned: Sheree Renee Cox, 35, of 68 Clayton Court, Washington, was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Jay Weller on a charge of possession of a controlled substance after she allegedly was found with suspected Xanax during a traffic stop May 18 by North Strabane police on Route 19 at Mansfield Road. Weller set bond at $500 on Cox, who was placed in Washington County Jail on a bench warrant Monday.

SOUTH STRABANE

Drug possession charges: Jessica R. Chronister, 32, of 127 Devils Den Road, Burgettstown, was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Jay Weller on charges of possession of heroin and paraphernalia and public drunkenness. Police said she was found June 11 at Giant Eagle, Strabane Square, slumped over a toilet with a half-empty bottle of wine and stamp bag of suspected heroin. Weller set bond at $5,000 on Chronister, who was placed in Washington County jail Monday on a bench warrant.

Mischief, disorderly charges: Krista M. Campenelli, 29, of 21 Abbeywood Lane, Washington, was charged last week by South Strabane police with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct for allegedly damaging a glass door last November at Motel 6, 1283 Motel 6 Drive. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft, fleeing charges: Danielle Rockymore, 35, of McKees Rocks, was charged last week by South Strabane police with retail theft, possessing instruments of a crime and fleeing or eluding police after she allegedly stole items May 9 from Osh Kosh B’Gosh, Tanger Outlets, then fled from police. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Former employee charged: Nicholas Lankin, 28, of 31 N. Main St., Washington, was charged last week by South Strabane police with theft and theft by failure to make required deposits after he allegedly stole $876.74 last August while working at Monroe Muffler, Murtland Avenue. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Charged with theft: Jamar F. Davis, 35, of 611 Spruce St., Canonsburg, was charged last week by South Strabane police with retail theft after he allegedly stole items valued at $598 from Home Depot, Murtland Avenue, June 22. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Possession charges: Eleasa M. Wolford, 38, of Tunnelton, W.Va., was charged last week by South Strabane police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and resisting arrest stemming from an incident last September at Texas Roadhouse, Strabane Square. Police said she had Alprazolam. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Drug, drunkenness charges: Robert A. Westfall Jr., 33, of 813 Jefferson Ave., Washington, was charged last week by South Strabane police with possession of cocaine and paraphernalia and public drunkenness after he allegedly was found bleeding and running up and down a hallway at Spring Hill Suites, Trinity Point Drive, last September. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Trash dumped: An employee of the South Strabane Township road department told township police Monday construction material, including carpet and plywood, was dumped over a hill near the township garage on Zediker Station Road.

WASHINGTON

Wires cut: Louis Musto of 151 Springfield Ave. told Washington police Monday the telephone wires to his home were cut by vandals.

Items stolen: Steve Kochanowski of Monaca told Washington police Monday a backpack, box of cigars and laptop computer were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at 17 S. College St.

Harassment alleged: Trava Thomas, 39, of 112 Hall Ave., Washington, will be charged with harassment by city police after she allegedly struck her sister in the face and pulled her hair during a confrontation Monday.
