AMWELL
Theft arrest: Mary KC Boyle, 45, no known address, was arrested Wednesday by state police on charges of theft, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle after she allegedly took a woman’s Chevrolet Cobalt from her home on Teri Lane, Amwell, without permission Monday. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.
CALIFORNIA
Two face charges: Ruben William Miller, 42, of Charleroi, and Antonio D. Rivera, 39, of LaBelle, will be charged by California police with disorderly conduct and harassment after a confrontation July 1 in the parking lot of Cal-Ed Credit Union, 100 Technology Drive.
CHARTIERS
Assault arrest: Kristine Wallace, 34, of 628 Holly Drive, Chartiers, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge David Mark on charges of simple assault and harassment. She is accused of grabbing a man’s arm during a June 28 confrontation, police said. She was released on her own recognizance.
Account accessed: Tina Donley of Chartiers told township police Wednesday three unauthorized charges were made on her bank account.
Woman assaulted: Crystal Rae Valperga, 32, of Washington, told police her arm was pulled through a window of a vehicle and a man struck her hand during a confrontation Wednesday outside 307 Castle Road. She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.
MORRIS
Threats, assault arrest: Charles David Aberegg, 46, of 307 Quaker Ridge Road, Morris, was arrested Thursday morning by state police on charges of terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, simple assault and harassment after he allegedly tried to retrain his wife by placing zip ties on her wrist after a confrontation earlier in the morning. Police said she was able to break free and wake her children. They went to a second-floor bedroom, shut the door and barricaded it. Police said Aberegg was able to force the door open, and his wife and children fled out a bedroom window. While he was on the telephone with police, he allegedly threatened to shoot them and claimed he had the house wired to blow up. The state police bomb squad responded and cleared the house. Aberegg was arrested and arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger. He was placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.
NORTH STRABANE
Threats, disorderly charges: Connor W. McGee, 19, of 2018 Overlook Court, was charged this week by North Strabane police with terroristic threats, cruelty to animals and disorderly conduct after he allegedly got into an argument with neighbors July 2. He allegedly threatened to shoot them and threw a lit firework at a dog. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Theft, receiving charges: Sanaila R. Voce, 22, of Uniontown, was charged Wednesday by state police with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly took the keys to a co-worker’s pickup truck without permission May 27 while they were staying at the DoubleTree, North Strabane. Police said Voce then crashed the vehicle on Interstate 79 in Amwell. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Two charged: Clifton Goins, 25, of 521 Meadow Lake Court, Washington, and Kirstie M. Bruno, 24, of 807 First St., Canonsburg, were charged Wednesday by North Strabane police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after a July 7 traffic stop on Clare Drive at Mary Lane. Goins also was charged with a stop sign violation. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Paraphernalia charge: Dana R. Dodson, 45, of 404 Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg, was charged Thursday by North Strabane police with possession of paraphernalia after she allegedly was found June 11 passed out in a restroom at Sheetz, 2401 Washington Road. Police said she had empty stamp bags and a pipe. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
WASHINGTON
Air conditioner stolen: Zsolt Csercsi of Washington told Washington police Wednesday an air-conditioning unit was stolen from outside a house he owns at 436 E. Hallam Ave. He told police he had surveillance that showed a man loaded the unit into a gold, 2002 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck. He was able to provide police with a license plate number.
