Charleroi councilman waives DUI case
A Charleroi councilman waived his driving under the influence of alcohol case Friday to Washington County Court.
Larry M. Celaschi, 58, has reached a tentative plea agreement to be admitted into the Accelerated Disposition Rehabilitation program for first offenders, said his attorney, Christopher Blackwell.
A Centerville police officer determined that Celaschi was under the influence of alcohol when the vehicle Celaschi was driving collided with the officer’s cruiser about 11 p.m. March 11 at Community Street and Route 88 in East Bethlehem Township, state police have said.
