BURGETTSTOWN
Woman faces charges: Kaci Coffman, 25, of 13 Railroad St., Burgettstown, will be charged by McDonald police with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. She allegedly was highly intoxicated at the Burgettstown Trail Festival Sunday night. Police say Coffman became belligerent and tried to kick out the back windows of a police cruiser. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.
CANONSBURG
Employee hit: Canonsburg police said charges are pending against an Allegheny County woman after she allegedly threw a bag of doughnuts at an employee of Dunkin’ Donuts, 105 Cavasina Drive, hitting her in the head Sunday afternoon. Police said the woman was angry because she claimed her initial order of doughnuts was old. When she was given another bag, she threw those at the employee.
Pillars vandalized: Canonsburg police were told Friday that graffiti was drawn on support pillars at Town Park’s main pavilion.
CANTON
Theft charge: Brenda Lee Curry, 47, of 143 Sunset Drive, Canton, was charged last week by state police with theft and possession of a controlled substance. An ambulance crew was called to her home July 12, and police said they found her with narcotic painkiller pills she allegedly had stolen from an elderly Canton woman a few days earlier. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
CHARLEROI
Woman arraigned: Labria Henderson, 24, of 515 Chestnut St., Monessen, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with making terroristic threats, harassment and criminal mischief, court records show. Police accuse her of threatening to kill Marquise Quinn and punching and spitting on her car about 3:20 p.m. July 18 at Sixth Street and Fallowfield Avenue. She is free on $10,000 unsecured bond set Monday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
Stalking alleged: Angelo M. Sclafani, 50, of Dunlevy, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with stalking, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records show. He is accused of covering the car belonging to his ex-girlfriend, Alicia McKenna, with mud and also placing a beer can on it about 4:30 p.m. July 17 on Deambroggi Road in Fallowfield Township. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Friday in a summons.
CHARTIERS
Charged with receiving: David Samuel Adams, 28, of Oil City, was arrested early Monday by Chartiers police on a charge of receiving stolen property after he allegedly was found in the 400 block of McClane Farm Road with a Kia Sorrento that had been reported stolen to Franklin police in Venango County. He and a passenger, Daniel Coxson, 28, of Mercer, were both wanted on warrants in Venango County. Adams, who is wanted on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle filed by Oil City police in May, was arraigned on the receiving stolen property charge by District Judge Mark Wilson, who set a $5,000 bond. Coxson is wanted by Franklin police on charges of burglary, criminal trespass and harassment filed last September. Both men were placed in Washington County Jail.
NORTH STRABANE
Assault arrest: Devon D. Boyd, 26, of 650 E. Prospect Ave., Washington, was arraigned last week before District Judge Jay Weller on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct filed by North Strabane police. He is accused of punching a co-worker June 9 at Waffle House, 430 Racetrack Road, breaking his jaw. The co-worker was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment. Boyd was placed in Washington County Jail on a $10,000 percentage bond.
Driver charged: David Howard White, 35, of 285 Moon Road, Washington, was charged last week by state police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, failure stay in his lane, failure to drive at a safe speed and careless driving. Police said White was found standing shirtless outside his vehicle after running it off Interstate 79 southbound near the Houston off ramp in North Strabane on May 14. Police said White had a blood-alcohol content more than double the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed, and also had marijuana in his system. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Threat, assault charges: Scott Anthony Morgan, 34, of 1548 Amity Ridge Road, Washington, was charged last week by state police at The Meadows Casino with terroristic threats, simple assault, resisting arrest, escape, harassment and public drunkenness. Police were called by security for a report of an intoxicated man at a blackjack table who allegedly threatened to assault a casino employee. When police tried to take Morgan into custody, he allegedly ran outside, jumped over a fence and ran down a hill. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Charged in theft: Kassie Lynn Dillard, 33, of 1370 Allison Ave., Washington, was charged last week by state police after she allegedly stole a cellphone and had drug paraphernalia at The Meadows Casino, Racetrack Road, on June 28. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Charged in stop: Trevor Moffa, 26, of 25 Lobell Drive, Canton Township, was charged last week by state police with possession of paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and speeding after he was stopped July 7 on Interstate 79 southbound near the Houston exit, North Strabane. Police said he was going 70 mph in a 55-mph zone. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Marijuana, paraphernalia charges: Jordan Coote, 20, of 97 William Drive, Canonsburg, was charged last week by North Strabane police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia in connection with a July 6 traffic stop at Racetrack Road and Quail Acre Lane. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Driver charged: Nicholas Smydo, 24, of 60 Robinson Road, Scenery Hill, was charged last week by North Strabane police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, speeding and driving with a suspended license after a June 9 traffic stop at Routes 19 and 519. Police said he was going 82 mph in a 45-mph zone on Route 19. He also allegedly had a bag of marijuana in the trunk of his car. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
PETERS
Arrested on warrant: Daniel Justin Kloshen Jr., 22, of Irwin, Westmoreland County, was arrested Saturday on a warrant obtained by Peters police on charges of theft by deception and receiving stolen property. He allegedly told an employee of South Hills Chrysler, 3344 Washington Road, on July 12 that he obtained a loan to purchase a 2015 Dodge Ram for $53,625.40. He allegedly showed a screenshot of the loan approval and was allowed to take the truck. Police said the dealership later learned he had not obtained the loan. Kloshen was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released from Washington County Jail Sunday after posting $25,000 bond.
ROSTRAVER
Man charged: Daniel Edward Robison Jr., 24, of 132 Manown Lane, Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he bruised the buttocks of a 2-year-old in his care in his neighbor’s residence between May 3 and June 18, court records show. Senior District Judge Herbert Mitchell Sr. issued the charges Thursday in a summons.
WASHINGTON
Threats alleged: Brian Olinger, 38, of 1255 Allison Ave., was arrested early Monday by Washington police on charges of terroristic threats, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He is accused of threatening his 38-year-old estranged wife and punching out the window in her vehicle. He was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson and placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond.
Window broken: Diana Speicher of Jollick Manor told Washington police Sunday that a window on the passenger side of her van was broken while it was parked outside her home.
Gun stolen: Chad Collins of Laurel Avenue told Washington police Sunday that a 9mm Ruger handgun and three credit cards that had been inside his wallet were stolen from his vehicle.
Warrant arrests: Shanna Brallier, 25, and Shea Pryor, 32, both of 434 McGovern Road, Houston, were taken into custody Saturday by Washington police after Brallier allegedly tried to steal food from Shop ‘n Save, 125 W. Beau St. She was wanted on an Allegheny County warrant. Pryor was wanted on a warrant on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward, who set a $10,000 percentage bond. Both were placed in Washington County Jail.
Vehicles entered: Robert Lopez and Mike Golubsky, both of East Katherine Avenue, told Washington police Saturday that their vehicles had been entered. Lopez reported that change and a locking knife in a leather sheaf were stolen. Golubsky reported his checkbook, sunglasses, global-positioning systems and two bottles of cologne were stolen.
