CANONSBURG
Window broken: Morgan Weaver, of 266 N. Central Ave., told Canonsburg police Wednesday the driver’s side window of her sport utility vehicle was broken while it was parked outside her apartment building.
DONORA
Man wanted: Marcus Johnson, 26, of 524 10th St., Monessen, is charged by borough police with burglary, trespassing, theft, terroristic threats, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief, court records show. Police accuse Johnson of kicking in a door in the 300 block of Third Street to steal gaming equipment about 1:30 p.m. May 21, and also threatening to harm the victim. District Judge Mark Wilson signed a warrant Tuesday for Johnson’s arrest.
EAST WASHINGTON
Woman assaulted: Samuel M. Wheeler, 58, of 789 W. Chestnut St., Washington, was charged last week by East Washington police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly punched a 27-year-old woman in the face during a May 11 confrontation at her North Avenue home. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
JEFFERSON
Harassment alleged: Mary Margarette Kinder, 54, of 48 Creek Lane, Jefferson, will be charged with harassment by state police after she threatened a state police employee Wednesday afternoon.
MONESSEN
Assault alleged: Deante Lamont Windom Sr., 41, of 518 Second St., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault and criminal mischief over allegations he pulled Carrie Gallagher off a couch and onto the floor and later pulled her out of a vehicle, tossing her onto the ground about 4:45 a.m. May 21 at his residence, court records show. Senior District Judge James Falcon issued the charges in a summons May 24.
Man charged: Ramsey D. Hyslop, 51, of 418 Murray Ave., Donora, is charged by city police with receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of an instrument of a crime and giving a false identification to police, court records show. A May 28 traffic stop at Tyrol Boulevard and Schoonmaker Avenue led police to accuse him of using a screwdriver to operate a vehicle that was stolen in Forward Township. Hyslop is free on $7,500 unsecured bond set last week by Senior District Judge James Falcon.
Woman wanted: Kara Ray Smith, 25, of Scottdale is charged by city police with possession of five stamp bags of heroin, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop at 12:01 a.m. May 21 in the 500 block of Tyrol Boulevard, court records show. Senior District Judge James Falcon signed a warrant last week for her arrest.
MONONGAHELA
Threat alleged: Anthony E. Pellegrino, 62, of 807 Chess St., Monongahela, is charged by city police with making terroristic threats over allegations he chased his ex-wife, Bonnie Pellegrino, with a stick and threatened to kill her about 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of West Main Street, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued the charge in a summons.
Man jailed: Jason Orin Stevens, 45, of 419 Second St., Monongahela, is charged by city police with theft over allegations he stole an item valued at $49 from a package delivered to his neighbor about 6:30 p.m. May 24, court records show. Police placed Stevens in Washington County jail on a probation violation.
Hit-and-run: Ross M. Garcia, 32, of 697 Rear Maple Drive, Monongahela, is charged by city police with driving under the influence of alcohol, causing an accident involving attended property and failure to give information and render aid, court records show. Police accuse Garcia of leaving the scene of an accident about 11:16 p.m. Saturday after his vehicle struck another operated by Jennifer Mercer at Second and West Main streets. Police filed the charges Tuesday before District Judge Mark Wilson.
Man arraigned: Matthew Jacob Keller, 22, of 426 Main St., New Eagle, is charged by city police with possessing an instrument of a crime, theft, receiving stolen property, public drunkenness, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse him of using household keys to break into parking meters in the 200 block of West Main Street and steal $5.50 about 2 a.m. Monday. He is free on $5,000 unsecured bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
SOUTH STRABANE
Driver charged: The driver of a vehicle who crashed his vehicle after allegedly chasing another driver was charged last week by South Strabane police. Devin T. Burnsworth, 21, of 40 BelAir Drive, Canton Township, was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, accident to an attended vehicle and reckless driving in connection with the April 29 incident. A 28-year-old Washington woman, whom he knows, told police he chased her in his vehicle through Walmart parking lot at Trinity Point to Trinity Point Drive and Washington Road, He then reportedly pursued her into the lot at Eat’n Park, 320 Oak Spring Road, where he crashed into her vehicle. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Theft charge: Robert J. Pimentel, 62, of 190 Pikes Peak, Prosperity, was charged last week by South Strabane police with felony retail theft after he allegedly stole Swarovski crystals valued at almost $1,080 from Hobby Lobby, 80 Old Mill Boulevard, May 15. He reportedly put the crystals in a bag and left the store. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Charged in stop: Todd James Heskett, 24, of Barnesville, Ohio, was charged last week by state police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and failure to obey a traffic sign after a March 31 traffic stop on Interstate 70 west near the Murtland Avenue exit, South Strabane. Police said he was going 80 to 85 mph. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
WASHINGTON
Assault, threats alleged: Dillon Lavelle Britt, 25, of Washington, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and unlawful restraint after he allegedly threatened to harm a woman and held her down on a bed during an incident May 16 at a home on Jefferson Avenue. Redlinger set bond at $10,000 on Britt, who was in Washington County jail on a parole detainer.
DUI, drug charges: Jason Frank Montani, 46, of Carnegie, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of possession of heroin and paraphernalia, DUI, unlawful activities and traffic violations stemming from a traffic stop earlier that day on Interstate 70 near the Jefferson Avenue exit in Washington. He was released from Washington County jail after posting a $5,000 percentage bond.
Threats arrest: Anthony Bable, 24, of 365 Allison Ave., was arrested Wednesday by Washington police on charges of terroristic threats and harassment after he allegedly told his girlfriend he was going to burn down their house, kill her dog and damage her vehicle during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.
Student faces charge: A 12-year-old Washington boy will be charged in a juvenile allegation after he allegedly hit a girl in the face during a May 24 incident in the auditorium at Washington High School. The girl went to the nurse’s office for treatment. One of her teeth was reportedly knocked loose, police said.
