CANONSBURG
Threat reported: Borough police said they plan to cite a 17-year-old boy for harassment in connection with a threat he allegedly made during an argument on the street in the 500 block of Chartiers Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
ROSTRAVER
Theft charges: Township police filed charges of theft and receiving stolen property against Larry Bolling, 25, of Twilight Drive. The charges stem from the alleged theft of a television from a customer at the Rostraver Square Walmart on May 30. Police initially filed the charges against Larry Boyd, but withdrew them upon learning Bolling allegedly uses that name as an alias.
SOUTH STRABANE
Warning issued: Township police told a Washington man to stop contacting the South Strabane landlord who owns the property he lives or he’d be charged with harassment. The man’s landlord, who lives in South Strabane, told police on Thursday received more than 40 calls and multiple texts – at least some of which were obscene or threatening – after a district judge ordered him on Tuesday to leave the property by June 28.
