False statement to purchase firearm: James Jurczak, 42, of 113 Bliss Ave., Nemacolin, was charged Friday with making false statements to authorities and making a materially false written statement for the purchase of a firearm when state police said attempted to purchase a firearm from a Franklin Township store Jan. 29.
