CHARTIERS
Money stolen: Angela Fine of 464 Chartiers Run Road told Chartiers police Sunday that her purse was stolen from her vehicle. The purse was found in her yard, but $20 and some change had been stolen.
MONONGAHELA
Assault alleged: Andrew David Smith, 18, of 224 Gregg St., Monongahela, is charged by city police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he caused lacerations to the neck of a 13-year-old boy in his residence about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, court records show. Smith is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
MT. PLEASANT
Man jailed: Ryan Richard Fonner, 25, of 344 Houston St., Washington, is charged by township police with simple assault, harassment, trespassing and criminal mischief, court records show. Police accuse Fonner of kicking and damaging a door and striking a man and a juvenile about 7:20 p.m. Saturday at 82 Main St., Hickory. He is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
NORTH FRANKLIN
Charged in crash: Kenneth Wayne White, 31, of 69 Interstate Alley, Claysville, was charged by North Franklin police with driving under the influence of alcohol after a two-vehicle crash about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said he pulled from the parking lot at Forty Bar & Grill, 3390 W. Chestnut St., into the path of an eastbound vehicle. Police said his blood-alcohol content exceeded the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed.
SOUTH FAYETTE
Restaurant cited: The operators of The Wheel, 3058 Washington Pike, South Fayette, were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for serving alcoholic beverages to a 20-year-old on May 15.
SOUTH STRABANE
Warrant arrest: Zachary Mingo, 30, of Washington, was taken into custody on a probation warrant after his 32-year-old girlfriend reportedly overdosed in a bathroom at Giant Eagle, Strabane Square, on Monday. South Strabane police said Mingo and his girlfriend will be charged with possession of heroin and paraphernalia after they were found with the suspected drug. He was placed in Washington County Jail on the warrant. She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.
Account accessed: Patricia Wenta of South Strabane told township police Monday that her bank account was accessed through an online call center to purchase three cellphones for more than $300. The cellphones were reportedly delivered to an address in Hazelton, Luzerne County.
WASHINGTON
Truck damaged: Don Sickles of 573 S. Main St. told Washington police Monday that a bottle of tequila was smashed on his pickup truck, breaking a window.
Account accessed: Ed Roth of 68 W. Katherine Ave. told Washington police Monday that his bank account information was accessed and a $355.99 charge was made through Western Union.
Money stolen: A loss-prevention employee at GetGo, 104 W. Wylie Ave., told Washington police Monday that an employee is suspected of taking money from the cash register on several occasions over the past few weeks. The employee reportedly was seen on surveillance stealing the money. Charges are pending, police said.
Hit-and-run crash: Washington police are looking for the driver of a green Honda station wagon that crashed into a tree and light pole about 8:10 p.m. Monday in the 10 block of East Maiden Street. A witness told police that a man with long brown hair pulled into a ponytail, wearing a green shirt, jeans and red shoes, ran from the vehicle in the direction of Railroad Street.
