Court cases

Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Kimberly Margaret Love, 32, 473 Temona Drive, Pittsburgh; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Nov. 8, 2016; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Kierre D. Williams, 23, 7002½ Kedron St., Pittsburgh; disorderly conduct; charged Sept. 7; sentence – $300 fine.

Cindy Lou Kossar, 47, 828 Shady Ave., Charleroi; driving under the influence and theft; charged Oct. 17; sentence – 72 hours to six months in jail, 12 months of probation, $1,000 fine, restitution and no contact with the victim.

Amanda Dawn Rush, 32, 703 McKean Ave., Charleroi; endangering the welfare of children and unsworn falsification to authorities; charged Dec. 2; sentence – two to 12 months in jail and 12 months of probation.

Appearing before Judge John F. DiSalle:

Brooke Lowery, 33, 137 North Ave., Apt. 2, Washington; driving under the influence, theft, tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Feb. 24; sentence – nine months to five years in jail, five years in the intermediate punishment program, 18 months of probation, six months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, restitution and 100 hours of community service.

Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo:

Christopher Lee Areford, 32, 106 Fonner Run Road, Sycamore; theft by deception; charged May 27, 2017; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution, 25 hours of community service and no contact with Walmart.

Samuel Robert Bruno III, 22, 807 First St., Canonsburg; two counts of theft from a motor vehicle; charged Dec. 6 and 22; sentence – 30 days to 12 months in jail, 12 months of probation, restitution, 50 hours of community service and no contact with the victims.

The following recently appeared in Washington County Court for first offenses of driving under the influence and were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their records expunged: Kenneth Boyer, 40, 165 S. Kings Creek Road, Burgettstown; Michelle Elizabeth Kabo, 30, 1337 Page St., Apt. 3, Pittsburgh; Christina Acosta, 20, 470 Hunting Creek Road, Canonsburg; Christine Schurig, 48, 111 Cidar Lane, McMurray; Katherine R. Massey, 45, 312 Fourth St., Allison; Rachel Mae Ghelarducci, 33, 235 E. Grant St., Houston; Kevin Joseph Rush, 22, 5 Brookcrest Drive, Cecil; Jesse Daniel Tatsch, 25, 119 Pacific Boulevard, Monessen; Shayla Nicole Riggle, 21, 1382 Amity Ridge Road, Washington; Anthony Dimatteo, 51, 800 Beech St., Monongahela; Arthur Lynn Hilaire, 73, 20 Esther St., Charleroi; David Martin Songer, 30, 3129 Churchview Ave., Pittsburgh; Frank Martin, 56, 4930 Williamsport Road, Elizabeth; Gary Robert Amend, 60, 710 Michigan Ave., Building O, Apt. 23, Washington; Kirsten Taylor Matsko, 27, 943 Park St., California; Amanda Odyssey Boyd, 21, 897 E. Maiden St., Apt. 3B, Washington; and Brennan Scott Kossol, 35, 1005 Fourth St., Monongahela.
