Trevor Scott Rush

A Greene County man arrested last month and accused of distributing child pornography has waived all charges to court.

Trevor Scott Rush, 36, of 106 Mills Alley, Jefferson, waived four counts of disseminating child pornography, 15 counts of possessing child pornography and one charge of criminal use of a communication facility, all felonies, before his preliminary hearing Wednesday afternoon with District Judge Glenn Bates.

The state Attorney General’s office said a person using an internet protocol address linked to Rush was found trading and distributing pornography videos of young girls through a file-sharing network. Investigators downloaded several files from the address in mid-January.

Investigators searched his borough home Feb. 15 and said they found hundreds of videos and images on his computer, cellphone and a thumb drive of young girls performing sex acts.

Rush is free on $25,000 bond while he awaits his preliminary arraignment at 9 a.m. March 19 in Greene County Court.

His defense attorney, Chuck Morris, declined to comment on the case.
