Reports released on campaign funds (Jan. 1 to Feb. 21) has Conor Lamb raising $3.3 million while Rep. Rick Saccone raised $703,000. Lamb raised almost five times as much as Saccone.

Outside groups like House Speaker Paul Ryan’s PAC spent over $3 million of the $9.1 million outside groups have spent in the 18th District media area in the last seven-plus weeks in support of Saccone.

During the same time span, outside groups supporting Lamb was $1.1 million (outspent roughly 9 to 1).

Why would they spend millions of dollars on a job that pays on average a little over $170,000 for the seat, especially knowing there is another election on Nov. 6?

The eyes on the nation are on us. People who donated have given five times more to Lamb than to Saccone, while outside groups have given around nine times more to Saccone than to Lamb.

Who will the people support? We will find out on March 13.
