Reckless endangerment, harassment charges: Bruce Wayne Henevich, 62, of 469 W. Roy Furman Highway, Wind Ridge, was charged Tuesday with two counts each of reckless endangerment and harassment. State police said as Henevich’s wife was driving on Route 21 approaching the Route 18 intersection in Center Township about 9 p.m. Monday, Henevich shut off the car and grabbed the steering wheel from his wife. He allegedly pulled his wife’s hair and hit his stepdaughter in the backseat with a bottle, police said. Henevich forced his wife and stepdaughter from the car and drove away, returning shortly after and demanding the two get back in the car. When they refused, Henevich, according to two victims on scene, accelerated toward the victims seated on the guardrail. Henevich’s wife told police she had to jump onto Route 18 to avoid being hit. Henevich is in the Greene County jail on $7,500 bond.
