One driver was taken to WHS-Greene hospital after a crash on Route 21 Friday morning.

State police said a WTC Gas Field Services pickup truck carrying pipes lost its load driving west on a curve near Jacobs Run Road in Center Township just before 10 a.m.

Another driver, James Baker, 32, of Dilliner, was traveling east and attempted to avoid hitting the loose load, but drove over one of the loose pipes. He was taken to the hospital for back pain, police said.

The driver of the truck, Sloan Michael Brocious, 18, of Marion Center, Indiana County, was not injured.
