A Washington County man was found dead Sunday in a bed at a homeless shelter in Pittsburgh.

Victor Joseph Mikush Jr., 34, of Venetia, was pronounced dead at 6:15 a.m. in a shelter on Smithfield Street, the Allegheny County medical examiner’s office said.

The case was under investigation by Pittsburgh police, and the cause of the death was not immediately known Sunday afternoon.
