Washington woman accused of stealing from Canton club
State police charged a Washington woman with theft after she allegedly stole more than $6,200 from a Canton Township club while serving as the financial secretary.
Bonnie Jean Barlow, 56, of 770 Fayette St., is accused of stealing the money between February 2017 and January 2018 from the Polish Club, 64 Griffith Ave.
State police said each bartender would put money collected at the bar in an envelope at the end of their shift and drop it into a safe. Barlow allegedly would match money with cash register receipts, but then steal some of the cash.
The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Barlow is scheduled for an April 17 hearing before Mark.
