DONORA
Man charged: Robert Cucchiorini, 48, of 220 Brokaw Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with making terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, court records show. Police accuse him of threatening to kill officers who responded to a disturbance at Marty’s Pizza, 642 Second St., about 8:50 p.m. March 8. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges this week in a summons.
SMITH
Driver charged: William H. Hutton, 43, of Coraopolis, was charged this week by Smith police with driving under the influence of alcohol, damage to unattended property, and careless and reckless driving. A resident called police March 3 after Hutton allegedly struck a basketball hoop that was in front of her Manor Drive home, almost knocking it down. When she tried to talk with Hutton, he allegedly became belligerent and started yelling obscenities. Police said his blood-alcohol content was almost 3 1/2 times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.
SOUTH STRABANE
Clerk threatened: A manager at the Ruff Creek store inside the BP station, Murtland and North avenues, told South Strabane police that a clerk was threatened with bodily harm Monday night by a customer who was angry because he was denied access to a restroom that was being cleaned.
WASHINGTON
Liquor law violation: The operators of American Legion Post 175, 168 Park Ave., were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for failing to have the manager complete alcohol management training during the period of Dec. 31 through Jan. 24.
PFA violation: Robert P. Lilley Jr., 35, of Ellsworth, will be charged by Washington police with violating a protection from abuse order obtained by a 39-year-old Washington woman from Judge Brandon Neuman. Lilley reportedly contacted her Tuesday on Facebook while on work release from the Washington County Jail. He is in jail after being sentenced to nine months on a charge of simple assault filed against him last year by state police. He also is in on another PFA violation.
Computer, bag stolen: Shanna Woodson of Burton Avenue told Washington police Tuesday that her Hewlett Packard laptop computer and her computer bag were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked outside her home.
