AMWELL
Assault charge: Mark R. Lucas, 66, of 167 E. Hillsboro Road, Amity, was charged last week by state police with simple assault and disorderly conduct after he allegedly pointed a gun at a vehicle on Arthur Lane, Amwell, March 2 and pretended to shoot at it. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.
CANONSBURG
Medication stolen: Jean McLaughlin of 601 W. Pike St. told Canonsburg police Friday medication was stolen from her home. Charges are pending.
CECIL
Driver charged: Courtney N. Martin, 24, of Fairmont, W.Va., was arrested Sunday night by Cecil police after a traffic stop that started on Southpointe Boulevard near the ramp to Interstate 79 north and allegedly continued as a brief chase onto the highway. Police said Martin had a Taser and drug paraphernalia. She was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of fleeing or eluding police, having a prohibited offensive weapon, possession of paraphernalia and traffic violations. She was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
CHARLEROI
Drug arrest: Marlita L. Addis, 55, of 911 Shady Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Saturday by Charleroi Regional police on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver crack and possession of paraphernalia after police said they found the suspected drug at her home. Police were monitoring the residence after getting complaints of suspected drug activity. Addis was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and released from Washington County jail after posting $25,000 bond. Deidre Mariani, 48, and Nicole Thurston, 35, both of Charleroi, were found at her home and placed in Washington County jail on bench warrants.
Assault arrest: Dakota Lee Uhutch, 23, of 10 Locust St., Roscoe, was arrested Friday by Charleroi Regional police after he allegedly struck his girlfriend in the face during a confrontation in the 1200 block of McKean Avenue. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of simple assault and harassment. Uhutch was released from Washington County jail after posting $2,500 bond.
MONESSEN
Woman charged: Trisa Lynn Stickle, 26, of 200 Union St., Dickerson Run, is charged by city police with possessing two rocks of crack, tampering with evidence and possession of heroin paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 4:20 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Sixth Street, court records show. Stickle is free on $5,000 unsecured bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.
Drug case: Cherly Leigh Johnson, 39, of 200 Shady Ave., Charleroi, is charged by city police with possessing crack, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct stemming from a traffic stop about 4:20 p.m. Thursday at McKee Avenue and Second Street, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso released her on unsecured bond.
McDONALD
Drug charges: Cory Allen Kavanaugh, 26, of 108 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, will be charged by McDonald police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after he allegedly was found with the suspected drug March 18 when police were called to his apartment to check on a woman’s welfare. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Traci McDonald.
NORTH STRABANE
Assault charges: Jeremy Null, 40, of Mifflinburg, Union County, was arrested Saturday by North Strabane police on charges of simple assault and harassment after a witness reportedly saw him pushing a woman in a room at Candlewood Suites, 255 Meadowlands Boulevard. A woman also could be heard asking someone to stop hitting her, police said. The alleged victim was not cooperative and denied being assaulted, according to police. The windows of the room were open at the time of the alleged assault. Null was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
Warrant arrest: Logan Hunt, 26, of Country Club Road, South Strabane Township, was taken into custody Friday night by North Strabane police on a bench warrant during a traffic stop on Morganza Road at Southpointe Boulevard. He was placed in Washington County jail on the warrant.
PETERS
Motorists injured: Two drivers suffered injuries, in neither case life-threatening, in a two-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. on Valley Brook Road, between Old Washington Road and Maplewood Drive, Peters Township police said. Both drivers were transported to the hospital following the head-on collision, according to police. A witness said that one of the vehicles, a Mazda, drifted across the center line and struck a Mercedes-Benz. No names were released.
ROSTRAVER
Man charged: Evan Matthew Wysochanski, 24, of 622 Old Route 71, Fallowfield Township, is charged by township police with reckless endangerment, failure to notify police about an accident and causing an accident involving damage to property, court records show. Police accuse him of leaving the scene after his vehicle struck a utility pole and then caught on fire about 1:30 a.m. March 17 on Broad Avenue. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the case Friday in a summons.
SOUTH STRABANE
Strangulation arrest: David Patterson, 36, of 224 Fairview Ave., South Strabane, was arrested Sunday by township police on charges of strangulation, aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment after he allegedly struck and choked his girlfriend during a confrontation at their home. The alleged victim was taken to Washington Hospital, where she reportedly received three sutures and five staples as treatment for her injuries. Patterson was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.
Jailed on warrant: Amanda Gray, 31, of 373 Christy Road, Washington, was taken into custody Thursday by South Strabane police on a bench warrant from Huntingdon County on drug charges filed against her by that county’s district attorney’s office. South Strabane police said she allegedly stole a sander from Lowe’s, Strabane Square. Gray was placed in Washington County jail until she was picked up by Huntingdon sheriff’s deputies for transfer to that county.
WASHINGTON
Tools, furniture stolen: Patricia Conley of Ford Street told Washington police Sunday the basement door of her home was forced open. Tools and furniture were stolen from the basement.
Pipe, flooring stolen: Fred Sams of Pittsburgh told Washington police Sunday a sink, flooring and copper pipes were stolen from a home he owns on Bruce Street.
Man threatened: Thomas Baker of Washington told Washington police Saturday he was at a business in the 1000 block of West Chestnut Street when a man came in and threatened him.
Television, game player stolen: Matt Coulter of 535 S. Main St. told Washington police Friday a television and Playstation 3 were stolen from his home.
Warrant arrest: Crystal Montano, 35, of 619 Best Ave., Washington, was taken into custody Friday by Washington police on a probation warrant during a traffic stop on Sammy Angott Way. She was placed in Washington County jail on the warrant.
Money stolen: A manager at BP, 1300 Jefferson Ave., told Washington police Sunday $170 was stolen during a quick-change scheme.
Drug Arrest: John Rondell Johnson, 40, of 232 Moore Ave., Pittsburgh, was arrested Monday on charges of drug possession and distribution, police said. He allegedly sold heroin to a confidential informant in Washington’s West End neighborhood in September. He was arraigned Monday before District Judge Robert Redlinger and was being held in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.
