CHARTIERS

Teen charged: A 16-year-old Washington boy was charged in a juvenile allegation by Chartiers police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted another 16-year-old boy during track practice at Chartiers-Houston High School on Friday.

Medication stolen: A supervisor at Premier Washington Health Center, 36 Old Hickory Ridge Road, told Chartiers police Friday that medication was stolen.

House damaged: John Supink of Fourth Street told Chartiers police Saturday that rocks were thrown at his home, damaging the siding.

MONESSEN

Woman charged: Lisa Dascani, 45, of 704 Speer St., North Belle Vernon, is charged by city police with conspiracy to commit access device fraud over allegations she and another suspect used a credit card stolen in Monessen to make purchases at a Walmart April 25, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant Monday for Dascani’s arrest.

MT. PLEASANT

DUI, false reports charges: Joshua Warco of 308 Wilson Ave., Washington, was charged Friday by Mt. Pleasant police with driving under the influence of alcohol, false reports to police and having an open container of beer after a one-vehicle crash April 25 on Burgettstown Road near Welch Lane. Police said Warco initially told officers he hit a guardrail but later admitted to sideswiping an oncoming water truck and crashing. Warco refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test, police said. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Traci McDonald.

NORTH BELLE VERNON

Tavern cited: The operator of Just A Tavern, 508 Broad Ave., North Belle Vernon, was cited Monday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly failing to clean the malt or brewed beverage system at least once every seven days and failure to maintain records between May 2017 and April 4. The operator also is accused of providing an alcoholic beverage to a 19-year-old on March 12.

NORTH FRANKLIN

One injured: Rita Perowski, 65, of Baker Street, Fredericktown, was injured when she made a left turn from the westbound lane of West Chestnut Street into the path of a vehicle driven by Charles E. Lacher, 47, of Main Street, Bridgeville, about 5 p.m. Thursday, North Franklin police said. Perowski was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. Lacher was not injured.

NORTH STRABANE

Son arrested: Michael Sebastian Sherry, 37, of 113 Stonegate Drive, North Strabane, was arrested Monday night by North Strabane police after he allegedly hit his mother and father during a confrontation at their home. He is accused of punching his father in the head and striking his mother when she tried to stop him. His 72-year-old father was taken to St. Clair Hospital for treatment. Sherry was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis on two counts of simple assault and placed in Washington County Jail on $30,000 bond. He is on parole in West Virginia, police said.

ROSTRAVER

Man jailed: Justin Christopher Levay, 32, of 245 W. McClain Road, Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with four counts of unauthorized access device use and one count of theft, court records show. Levay faces accusation he stole a purse from a woman in the parking lot of Walmart, 100 Sara Way, about 4:35 p.m. Sunday and used her credit cards to make more than $770 in purchases at stores in the area. He was placed in Westmoreland County Jail on $2,500 bond set Monday by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Theft alleged: Jeremy Alan Marish, 27, of 312 Market St., Belle Vernon, is charged by township police with theft and receiving stolen property over allegations he stole two gift cards valued at $75 each from a resident of Rostraver Apartments, 117 Mathews Road, about 3 p.m. Dec. 27. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges Monday in a summons.

SOUTH FRANKLIN

Man jailed: Robert Braun, 44, of 142 McClelland Road, North Strabane Township, is charged by state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to give information and render aid, causing an accident involving damages to another vehicle and several motor vehicle violations, court records show. Braun is accused of swerving his vehicle, striking another vehicle and leaving the scene of the accident about 11:45 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of King Air Circle. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

WASHINGTON

Fugitive surrenders: John Christopher Decker Jr., 24, of 305 Lincoln Terrace, Washington, turned himself in to Washington police Monday on a warrant out of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, where he is accused of violating his probation by failing to submit to drug testing. He was arraigned as a fugitive from justice before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County Jail pending extradition to Maryland.

Inmate to be charged: Terrance W. Davis II, 27, of Washington, will be charged with assault by Washington police after he allegedly assaulted three corrections officers earlier this year at Washington County Jail. Davis is in jail on parole and Megan’s Law violations.

Warrant arrest: David Charles Miller, 34, of Addison Street, Washington, was taken into custody Monday by Washington police on a bench warrant during a traffic stop in the 600 block of West Chestnut Street. He was a passenger in the vehicle. He and the driver face additional charges. Miller was placed in Washington County Jail on the warrant.

Card information accessed: Nena Interval of East Wylie Avenue, Washington, told Washington police Monday that her credit card information was accessed and used to make a purchase on Amazon.

Package stolen: Leslie Pahler of East Maiden Street told Washington police Sunday that a package that was delivered to her home April 20 was stolen.

Harassment alleged: Christopher Irwin, 45, of 185 Henderson Ave., Washington, was charged Saturday by Washington police with harassment after he allegedly shoved a 27-year-old Washington woman into the side of a home in the 100 block of Henderson Avenue.
