Police in Peters Township are searching for the person who robbed the KeyBank branch at 4073 Washington Road at mid-afternoon Friday.

Police in Peters Township are searching for the person who robbed the KeyBank branch at 4073 Washington Road at mid-afternoon Friday.
The robber reportedly brandished a silver 9mm handgun and fled in a vehicle, according to reports from 911 dispatch.
Peters Township police Chief Doug Grimes said no one was hurt during the incident, but did not give any further information at the scene. He said it is unknown whether his department or the FBI will handle the “active investigation.”
“It’s still early in the investigation,” he said Friday afternoon. “On Monday, we’ll have a formal news release.”
