Court cases

Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Jason A. Carpenter, 25, 25 Midland Drive, Washington; flight to avoid apprehension; charged March 5, 2017; sentence – three to 12 months in jail.

Shane Thomas Grooms, 41, 1703 Woodmont Ave., Arnold; criminal trespass; charged July 9; sentence – $300 fine and no contact with cemetery on Burds Way, California.

Alexander Gilbert Adams, 24, 1420 Yorktown Drive, Lawrence; disorderly conduct; charged March 25, 2017; sentence – $100 fine and restitution.

Joshua Logan Dillie, 22, 201 Green Haven Road, Claysville; fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, criminal mischief and driving under the influence; charged Aug. 18; sentence – 72 hours to six months in jail, two years of probation, $1,500 fine, restitution and 24-month driver’s license suspension.

Marlene F. Fabich, 78, 1520 Jefferson Ave., Washington; retail theft; charged July 25; sentence – $300 fine, restitution and no contact with Kohl’s.

Joseph Edgardo Carcamo, 29, 203 Majestic Court, Moore Park, Calif.; harassment; charged Oct. 6; sentence – $300 fine.

Charles Zachary Burnfield, 31, 550 Webster Hollow Road, Webster; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 31; sentence – six months of probation without verdict.

Tammy M. Hutchison, 40, 458 Market St., Beaver; retail theft; charged Sept. 4; sentence – $300 fine and no contact with Dollar General.

Nicholas David Salvador, 24, 1144 Brookside Drive, Greensburg; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Oct. 5; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Sky T. Desensi, 42, 16 N. Buffalo Road, Washington; two counts of forgery; charged Sept. 12; sentence – 11½ to 23 months in jail, three years of probation, restitution and no contact with Lincoln Manufacturing and Cramer Landscaping.

Dylan Lawson, 20, 549 Thompson Ave., Donora; resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Oct. 9, 2017; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Derrick James Price, 35, 26 Baker St., Fredericktown; theft by unlawful taking; charged Oct. 14, 2017; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and no contact with the victim.

James Francis Sasson III, 56, 205 Quarry St., Bentleyville; simple assault; charged Oct. 4; sentence – 12 months of probation.

John S. Waltrowski, 72, 6141 Brownsville Road Extension, Finleyville; unsworn falsification; charged June 20; sentence – six months of probation.

Misty Dawn Humphrey, 41, 84 Pike Run Drive, Daisytown; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Oct. 27; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Andrea Dawn Firtik, 40, 1317 Sheridan Ave., Brownsville; retail theft; charged Dec. 15; sentence – 12 months of probation.

The following recently appeared in Washington County Court for first offenses of driving under the influence and were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their records expunged: Aaron Daniel Wells, 35, 13 Crothers Lane, McDonald; and Patricia Maureen Abbott, 59, 714 Roselawn Ave., Apt. 4, Pittsburgh. Jessica Marie Campbell, 33, 268 Smithfield St., Canonsburg – retail theft; Joseph A. Marie III, 30, 3477 Frye Ave., Finleyville – access device fraud; and Alexis Nickole Williams, 28, 121 Hall Ave., Washington – theft by deception.
